Mikayla: Portrait Session

As a photographer, I have almost no photos of my own face. You know the old saying about the cobbler's kids always walking around barefoot? It's the same situation. Fortunately, I am not alone in this photo-less boat of mine, and I was able to connect with Instagram (now real life) friend and fellow photographer Mikayla to have coffee, exchange war stories, and swap photos. You can now see her work featured proudly on my about page (ya'll, she did such a good job!). After coffee, we meandered through downtown Apex, popping into community arts buildings, looking for plants (always), and having an all-around blast.

"Topsy-turvy, but enjoying the sunshine" is a good way to describe life at this point in time. A major thank you to Mikayla for going along with my still-in-process ideas, for laying on grass that had been covered in snow the day before, and for just being an all-around lovely human being. Make sure you go an check out her work, and tell her I sent ya!
