Bridal Session: Tori

Tori is one of the most beautiful people I know. It's that inside-and-out kind of beauty you read about growing up; her kindness, humor, and care for others radiates from her face (particularly those gorgeous brown eyes:). This shoot took place at sunrise almost exactly one year after her wedding day, in a field I found near my house. It was incredibly cold (29 F), but Tori managed quite valiantly. As a result, she looks basically like Lizzy Bennet (one of the highest compliments around these parts!).

We interrupt this Very Serious Bridal Shoot to bring you a slice of reality. When you don’t have a breeze that is juuuuust right, you have your little-sister-turned-assistant to make the veil do the floaty thing and then run out of the frame as fast as she can.

Tori, thank you for getting up hours before dawn and braving the cold with me. This shoot will forever hold a special place in my heart because of all the laughter, music, beauty, and shivering we shared.

A special shoutout to my sister Laura, the best assistant a gal could ask for. Thanks for all of your help + dress lacing expertise!
